Disability Information & Referral Services
Disability Network serves as a central clearing house for hundreds of people who want information on disability issues. People call for guidance, for resources, to share ideas, to ask questions, and to look for answers. Maybe you want to find the nearest tandem bike club for persons who are visually impaired; maybe you need medications for your disability but do not have insurance - whatever your concern, our Information & Referral Specialists assist on both a call-in or personal appointment basis.
If you would like to ask a question, get a referral or for more information, you may contact Disability Network's Information & Referral Specialists at (269) 345-1516 or toll-free 1-800-394-7450. You may also e-mail our Information & Referral Program Coordinator Lewis Whalen at lwhalen@drccil.org.
The Kalamazoo office of Disability Network also houses the Will Harter Memorial Library. The public is welcome to stop by during normal business hours and browse through books, videos, and pamphlets on a wide variety of topics.
